The Future Leaders Challenge is more than a competition…

About what We do and why We do it

The Concept
The FLC is on a mission to position the MEA region as a global hub for developing innovative and collaborative leaders in hospitality and tourism. By fostering relationships between emerging talent, industry leaders, and key partners across education, government, and the hospitality and tourism sector, the region is uniting efforts to enhance the industry’s appeal and lead the way in sustainable human capital development.

The FLC's focus on mentorship goes beyond immediate career development. It ensures the MEA region fosters a future generation of leaders who are not only innovative but also environmentally and socially conscious. This aligns perfectly with the region's vision for sustainable growth." By organizing events , such as The Challenge for students, we focus on Game Changing collaborations between our stakeholders to enhance the quality of education, talent development, and human capital.

Vision Statement for the Future Leaders Challenge

As co- founder of the Future Leaders Challenge, I am driven by a deep love and gratitude for the hospitality and tourism industry—a field that has given me everything and shaped me into who I am today. Since embarking on my entrepreneurial journey at the age of 16, hospitality has not just been my profession but my passion. It’s an industry that embodies the very best of humanity: serving others selflessly, fostering genuine connections, and inspiring unity through shared experiences.

The Future Leaders Challenge was born out of this passion and my unwavering belief that the world becomes a better place when people live by the values that hospitality teaches us—serving others without expecting anything in return, embracing diversity, and fostering understanding between cultures. Tourism has the power to break down barriers and bring communities together, creating bridges where walls once stood. In a world that can often feel divided, hospitality and tourism have the unique ability to remind us of our shared humanity.

However, for this industry to thrive and reach its full potential, we must address its most pressing challenge: ensuring a sustainable and inclusive future for its human capital. That is the ultimate goal of the Future Leaders Challenge—to build an environment where hospitality and tourism are celebrated as careers of choice, where talented young individuals are empowered to see the limitless opportunities within the industry, and where every country and region has a sustainable human capital plan in place.
We aim to achieve this vision by bringing together decision-making stakeholders—government, industry, education, and the next generation—regularly through national, continental, and global conferences. These platforms facilitate constructive and positive dialogue, enabling these key stakeholders to better understand and address potential solutions to the challenges we face. By creating spaces for inspiration, shared learning, and collaboration, we empower participants to grow together, exchanging ideas and strategies that strengthen the industry.

Countries can learn from and with one another, particularly as we focus on supporting emerging countries in the field of hospitality and tourism. By prioritizing inclusivity and sustainability, we aim to ensure that opportunities are not limited by geography or circumstance, but instead become a global standard in our industry.

I believe in an industry that thrives on sustainability—environmental, social, and economic. One that champions inclusivity, where all voices are heard, and where opportunities are available to anyone with talent, passion, and drive, regardless of their background. The Future Leaders Challenge is a foundational platform for nurturing the next generation of leaders, giving back to the industry that has given so much to me and so many others.

My vision is to inspire and equip young talents to shape a future where hospitality and tourism are not only resilient but transformative. Together, we can create a world where the spirit of service, the celebration of diversity, and the commitment to sustainability are at the heart of everything we do—ensuring that this incredible industry continues to connect, empower, and uplift communities for generations to come.

Working on these topics will prepare students for the live event. During these four days, students will learn to develop and cooperate as a community and come up with answers to the strategic questions provided by the Advisory Board.
